Trees and Leaves
A little bit about this album:Â
Photosynthesis is the process in which plants (and plant-like organisms) take in carbon dioxide, water, and light energy and create sugars and spit out oxygen. Leaves are not quite exclusively where this magic of nature occurs, but they're the most beautiful about it. Perhaps if plants could figure out how to spit out a wifi signal, we'd stop clear cutting forests and spend more time planting trees!Â
Note- the plants seen here feature active growth during the growing season. Autumn leaves are in a different gallery. And if you ever have a chance to put a leaf under a microscope, do it! Just look at the stomata of that angel wing begonia. They look like stained glass roses, right?Â
