"Into the woods, it's time to go. . ." thank you Mr. Sondheim! Come and sit on a bench while huffing and puffing up the path to the top of Kamiak Butte. Listen to the wind blow through the cedar trees of Idler's Rest. Watch the chipmunks scurry through the fallen leaf debris at Spring Valley. Take a nap under a Doug Fir or Ponderosa Pine. Into the woods. . . who can tell what's waiting on the journey?Â
Oh, but please don't pick any wild flowers! Some take up to 5 years to recover from having their stems ripped off before they'll send up another flower. Instead, find somebody (like me?) with a camera to take a picture; besides, it'll last much longer!Â
